Marissa is a full-time college student majoring in Media Studies with a minor in Business. She comes from a family of teachers who have embedded core values of working hard and never giving up in her. With these values, she has been able to consistently appear on the president's honor roll for her whole college career thus far. When she is not in school she is working in education, mentoring middle-school students. "Tutoring is one thing, and telling students that they matter is another. We have to teach children that they are wholesome human beings who deserve love and support. I am lucky enough to play a small role in that"
In her free time, she collaborates with Grandma Sparky and other Blue Ribbon Ambassadors in developing Blue Ribbon Worldwide social medias and websites. Her ultimate dream is to graduate with a Masters in Business and work with similar nonprofits to Blue Ribbons Worldwide, in spreading peace and love! This Summer she intends to travel the world as much as she can, with whoever will be by her side.
